U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) supported a federal investigation that resulted in the indictment of five people for their roles in a scheme to exploit a nonimmigrant visa worker program. The defendants fraudulently obtained worker visas and smuggled aliens into the United States. The U.S. Attorney for Southern District of Georgia made the announcement.
